The Bio.

I believe I was born as a graphic designer, wanting to be one before I even knew what the job was—studing magazine covers, designing websites on paper and sketching logos—graphic design is my love. Since finding out the actual job title, I have been both officially and non-officially practicing the art for six years, the past three professionally.

My professional education began in high school with the completion of many art and publishing classes, including acting as the Design Editor for our yearbook. I have also completed the Design Essentials program, a joint program between Emily Carr University and British Columbia Institute of Technology, receiving a 96% GPA. The program has given me both technical and creative foundations that I use as jumping-off points for all of my projects.

My work experience includes over four years at Circle Graphics & Design Inc., an Abbotsford-based interactive & print design firm. Under the creative direction of Brad Haima, I have been given the creative flexibility to spearhead many projects for numerous local (and not-so-local) Tourism, Municipal and small business websites, identities and print projects. I have also become the primary ad designer for Visual Sports Image Canada; creating dynamic, targeted, rich-media Flash advertisements for a multitude of clients. I now work at Graphically Speaking Services Inc., Vancouver’s leading web-development and design company.

Due to my multiple years of education on-the-job experience, I have now became an Associate Member of The Society of Graphic Designers of Canada.

I thank you for taking the time to look around my site. I’d love to speak with you about possible opportunities, so please don’t hesitate to contact me for more information or a full version of my resumé.
